The archer is a class of accuracy. No one can underestimate the power of the face shot, that hits but doesn’t kill the target. Favourite skill: Quickie Shot!

This is a class that knows how to have fun. Shopping for weird toys and anime products, I wonder what they do with these in their locked rooms. Favourite item: Robocop’s friend, Robocock.

Prestige Classes

Rogue

Though their actions seem questionable, the rogues are one of the most favoured class by all cheapskates or poor students who can’t afford to buy their own DVD. Don’t look down on the rogues, for they have an extensive information network, sending data packets in the form of P2P and torrents. Even the anti-rogue ODEX company has failed to successfully shut down their network.

Blue Mage

Weaboos, oops… blue mages are people without cultures of their own. In some ways, they can be cool, depending on what kind of culture they pick up, and adopt it in a way that fits their definition of awesome. Some choose to wear squall necklaces to school, others have little keroro toys hanging on their schoolbags but they all like to go. Nothing has however, been able to defeat the epic hero, Girugamesh!

Golemancer

Paint, plastic, metal and lights. These golemancers are obsessed over their own creations. While many beginners start with Bandai easy to summon models, they start to customize their own golems as they level up. Their army can consist from a few to hundreds. The true power only unleashes when you destroy one of their Zaku models.  The golemancer will enter a fistful rage where you will no longer see the light of day. It is also common to see scantily dressed women and skirted lolis in the top shelf(so they can peek from beneath).

Whether its empty chatter or complicated matters, these politicians do not stop at feeding fuel to the flames. They come as many names, such as saltires, trolls, flamers or even stalkers, in the never-ending struggle to seek attention. They even give themselves names like The Sojourner! Cool huh? Nevertheless, they are just simple plain blokes who own a blog.

Runemaster

Master of moonrunes, these masters of translation are able to channel ultimate power into a single episode of anime goodness. They receive a lot of ‘rabu’ from the rogues. Because of their generosity, their good works is distributed throughout all the lands and the internet.

Detective

Many detectives exist, but none are as vigilant as Anon(right of bottom picture) from 4chan. Despite the lack of evidence, these detectives are able to scour ever drop of information they can in order to get justice for a cat. It seems questionable that they treat furballs better than humans though.

Weaponmasters

Weaponmasters are fighters that have reached a level of proficiency with their weapon that they know their weapon like it was part of themselves(or it may already be part of themselves). They can swing it so fast and repeatedly, that a sound is made, describable as ‘fap fap fap fap fap….’.

Artisan

The work of an artist can never be looked down upon. With many masterpieces, the inspiring doujins and fanart can help his friends and allies get through another horrible day of sex deprivation. This gives all people hope, especially those who wish to see haruhi without panties.

Meister

Many years before the events of Gundam 00, Meisters already existed. These Meisters pass their abilities from one to another, starting with A, Anime Meister.

The Anime Meister stumbled across the Breast Meister, a guy who just can’t find big breast in the asian population. He showed him anime and taught him the path to enlightenment and so, he found the breast he needed.

Sakuracon has succeeded in something that CLANNAD ~After Story~ has failed to do: entertain me.

The unfavourable response from group of commentators on ANN baffles me. Yeah. I think the Sakuracon advertisement, which featured a bunch of Japanese pop-culture fans shouting out a bunch of catchphrases, is satiric in nature. Also, it was pretty fun and effective.

A satire is suppose to exaggerate  reality in order to raise awareness. By doing so, the satire is suppose to succeed in affecting people to REFORM. Would you have felt a pang of guilt after witnessing the overzealous profusion by those actors? The advertisement is imploring greater sensibility and moderation in one’s hobbies. By seeing how ridiculous the lovers of “GAY ROCK” and “GUHROOGAMESH” are, hopefully one would reform by showing more maturity when attending an anime con (for example, do not break trees or spank people with paddles).

Is the advertisement insulting? Does it present an inaccurate depiction of anime fandom in America? I am not sure. But I have heard of funny anecdotes of people in my college acting really weeaboos-ish in first semester Japanese classes. How weeaboo can they get? Well, I was told by a friend of mine that he has a female classmate in his first semester Japanese class who friggin imitates the mannerism of L from Death Note. Now that has to suggest something. Man I really do not know what Sakuracon was thinking when they made that ad. It is so blatant in its mocking. While people like me are able to laugh at it and do some self-reflection, there will be others who are not so graceful.

Putting that aside. Let us talk about the fact that there was a parody of the original advertisement that was requested by Sakuracon to be removed off Youtube.

MAN. WHY WAS I ACTING SO POLITE? THE SAKURACON ADVERTISEMENT HAS DONE NOTHING BUT TO INCREASE MY DESIRE TO VISIT A CON FOR THE LULZ.

SO WHY DID SAKURACON DEMAND THAT THE YU-GI-OH PARODY OF THEIR AD BE REMOVED? IT IS A DESERVING (BUT EVIL) SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR OF THE ORIGINAL! UNLESS THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE ORIGINAL HAD SUCCEEDED IN DOING, THERE WAS NO NEED TO ASK FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE PARODY!

OH WAIT. I KNOW IT. SAKURACON IS JEALOUS OF THE PARODY BECAUSE THE PARODY EXCEEDS THE ORIGINAL IN ITS AFFEECTIVE ABILITY!!!!

1. The Sakuracon advertisement is a sad case of exaggerated and insulting truth.
2. ID SOJOURNER does not hate the ad like the Chicks on Anime because he likes mockery, justified or not.
3. Even if the Sakuracon ad is not 100% accurate, it ought to be grimly taken as a reminder of childish fan behaviour.

So I was strolling nonchalantly and happened to pass by the Singapore Indoor Stadium. There was this fine young man who was taking shots of a tiny piece of plastic and curiosity prompted me to approach him for a closer look of what was going on. Then it came to realise that was no piece of plastic the young man was ogling over, it was an action figure of Takamachi Nanoha of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha fame.

As a big fan of the Nanoha franchise, I accosted the young man with the simple request of touching the simply adorable Nanoha figure for just a few minutes. As if the heavens had smite with all its wrath, I was stunned by the sudden events that were to take place.

Much to my surprise, the smile on his face faded away for a rather intimidating glare after I had asked whether I could touch his Nanoha figure. He assaulted me with savage attempts on my life, and I swear I was facing a real life Yandere.

IT WAS MADNESS I TELL YOU!!!! TWO THINGS. HE DID NOT WANT ME TO GET CLOSE TO HIS NANOHA. SECONDLY, HE WAS JEALOUS OF MY ABSOLUTELY AND UNDENIABLY ATTRACTIVE LOOKS. Tamaki of Ouran Host Club was based on me.
