The series is a trap…just like how 1 of the character is a trap to begin with! :p

While watching Strike Witches, my attention wasn’t on the pantsu until the OTHERS IN THE ANIBLOGOSPHERE pointed it out. Then I decided to devote more of my attention (plus gaze) to their pantsu and re-watched the episode.

I think the satire is missing in Strike Witches (just like what you have pointed out) so that’s probably one of the differences. I wouldn’t exactly say that Maria-Holic is fan service since GONZO made their characters wear pantsu on the outside, but the humor is definitely there. (:

PS: We need handsome female characters for Strike Witches, just like the ones found in Maria-Holic.
