SG= a democracy that isn’t a democracy. My friend’s dad got fined by the ERP before for not having that thing installed in the car. IMHO, thats worse than being cheated over an autograph. SG can be terrible at certain areas.

1) At most, a court will only give you back your contractual expectations. Ie: 100 odd dollars worth of “fun”.

2) On top of that, maybe you can get some “suffering” damages. Unless you went medically insane from your lack of a signature, this isn’t going to come up to much.

3) The court could order punitive damages, and this is where all the crazy American multi-million dollar law suits get so famous. But hey, this is Singapore so the chances of that happening and pretty microscopic.

All in all though, i do agree with you. It’s pointless fighting over this. A signature is (if you really get down to it) pretty damn worthless, especially since all the die hard fans aren’t going to sell them anyway.
