An anime fan in an office

Hi its me, the new writer and the most sane member of the alley. I infiltrated their wordpress base and I just LOL-ed at their Drafts. Lots of funny shiet.

This is a short post on my first week in my new job (came over to TBA due to the lack of time). Oh, and I love Fox Spirits.

I have experienced being a NEET for a few months, went for an obligatory pilgrim trip to Akiba, had my bank account close to a zero that I had to eat instant noodles almost everyday, built a MG Gunpla, got burnout from anime quite a few times, wet my pants when Nanoha blasted walls, what else have I not done before I officially enter the workforce? Although this is not my first job, I feel a bit strange after NEET-ing for 3 months plus, being a hot blooded anime fan and all.

Its cooling without any pants at home.

There are only 2 guys including me in my department, so I’m experiencing a real life harem, from young woman to aunties in their early 50s. But I still prefer my harem in 2D. “What are your hobbies?” a female colleague asked. I replied without thinking “Oh, collecting figurines.” Shiet, I spoketh the truth. She paused for a moment and said, “Ah, Barbie Dolls?”. I then went on to explain about comics and cartoons. I have yet to detect any anime fans in my department yet, but at least I don’t have to talk Naruto/Bleach with one of my ex-colleague. I lend him Gundam 00 to shut his Narutard talk.

I have my little shana-tan at my work desk now, and I’m planning to bring in more as time goes by, probably some petit nendoroids. Oh yah, I changed my ringtone too, from “Aimo Aimo” to the dumb Sony Ericsson default ringtone.

When there is nothing to do in the office (hardly any), its time to read some blogs! Long post with ranting and complains (you should know who they are) without any pictures is the best. I don’t want anyone to pop out behind me suddenly and see the lolis. When they ask what I’m reading, I will say its some news. TBA is dangerous, I will never know what ID Sojourner will post next.

So, enjoy your life while you still can, boys of the alley.
