After a short detour that imparted us with knowledge of both the girls’ past, we are now back to present time. Nana Osaki decides to call her new found friend ‘Hachiko‘ based on the latter’s tendency to stick onto others. Basically these next few episodes warms up the engine as the girls begin their new lives in Tokyo, having left their pasts back in their respective hometowns (or have they?).
I hate to say this but Hachiko is responsible for keeping the show fun to watch as she makes us facepalm with her silliness while Nana Osaki, who seems to have some common sense, picks on her. Damn I wish I had an elder sister like Nana Osaki, she is awesome.
As far as reflections go at this point, it is pretty much the same as my feelings about the beginning of this show. NANA, so far, is not stimulating but a peculiar watch that compells you to carry on. I see that the story is ready to shift to the next gear and I do look forward to knowing what happens next! So until next time, GOOD TIE!!!!!

Oddly captivating is the phrase I used to describe BKI, and I own the trademark on it. I also own the patent on insulting Shizue Nana.

I’m currently at episode 2 and I’m resisting the urge to watch. I’ll wait for my one week midterm break so that I can catch NANA in a totally relaxing environment. Sucks to be watching NANA while worrying about school work.
Thanks for not posting spoilers; I was reading with discretion and was ever ready to skip lines here and there while reading. Luckily nothing earth shattering is revealed. XD
