Our holiday starts off with a cup of coffee.
In between, we had a cup of tea…
No, I’m not following Excalibur, I’m serious.

Yes, this is possible because we rented an RV(aka motorhome/campervan), a big but fragile and dumb vehicle. With this vehicle, we travelled the following countries(in order): Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria, in search of the secret of being a Belka Knight!!
Germany

Berlin Wall
While we didn’t learn much German to communicate with the magical device, we learnt a word, “Shietz!”. Tthe word of the century! Finally, having the power to ‘talk’ to the devices, we went ahead to the more eastern parts of Europe to find the devices.
Czech Republic
Arriving in Prague, we found ourselves in Soul Eater land! How glad was I to have arrived here. The streets in Old Town of Prague strongly resemble that of Soul Eater. The roads like the anime were near impossible for our vehicle to travel and we navigated very slowly through the curvy alleyways, making countless three point turns. Finally, we arrived at our destination. Due to the lack of ability to read Deutsch, we parked at a reserved parking lot. WOOTz.

Alas, we entered old town to see its landmarks but failed to find witches or weapon or technicians or even magical devices. We ate at a rip off restaurant at the area only to return to find our vehicle clamped!! Shietz!
Poland
After paying the fine, we headed off again. To Auschwitz, the death camp where many people were persecuted and killed. It was said that many experiments happened here including those experiments done on humans. Cruel, yes, but perhaps that is how the magical devices speak. As we arrived there, we realised that all evidence has been erased and we are not allowed to enter the ruins. Shietz! The device has to be around somewhere! Pictures were not allowed to be taken in there. =(
Slovakia
Nothing here but mountains and trees and people. Poorly build roads made us move at 40km/h, shietz! We had no choice but to stay at a hotel in the middle of the highway. After some sausages(I know what you are thinking, don’t worry, they are small long ones) for breakfast, we carried on the journey.
Hungary
The only place to be a hero is none other than… Heroes Square! YES! I bet that thing right at the top is a magical device of some sort… Lets go climb it!!

Alas, due to the fear of height time constrains, we had to leave before I actually made it to the top. We decided to Look around the rest of Budapest for more shietz!

Overlooking castle walls to the city
Nothing, not even in the castle.
Austria
As we arrived in Vienna, the roads started to become more and more like Germany and we came to a conclusion that Germany and Austria were richer than the other countries mentioned. I heard that things were worst before the EU was formed. Good thing that wealth is more distributed now…

Vienna was a beautiful city with a nice palace and a park with statues of various musicians such as Mozart, but no magic devices.

We then headed to the Icy Alps as we know that many legendary weapons are buried in the ice in harsh environments where human travel is not possible. However, due to the tour price and distance to take a tour to the ice caves, we had to carry on to Salzburg to walk in the park where the Sound of Music was held instead.

- I thought these trees only existed in RPGs
Back in Germany
Back in Deutschland! Our last few days were spent in Munich and Hamburg and Hannover before flying off. Due to a sudden attack of jet lag, I am no longer able to generate false adventures carry on about our quest to be Belka Knights but just know that we failed! Shietz! However, all is not lost as it is not far away to become a Belka Knight!! HOHOHO!

Conclusion
Even though we learned the most important word in the German dictionary(, actually I’m not really sure if its in there), we were not able to find any magical devices to use. However, with that one word, we are always ready should we one day stumble across a magical device. Shietz everyone!

My cousins live in Germany, but I’ve never been there myself. But that tree — it’s really pretty.

Maybe you should go “underground,” because maybe there could be hidden secrets underneath your very feet.
Just curious: did you used a dSLR, or a standard digital compact camera with those shoots?

Panther –> sadly we only explored a small part of Poland =( Next time we might visit Warsaw, because its name sounds fishy.
53RG10 –> It was time constrains!! A second look at it makes it awfully suspicious!
blissmo –> Its in Salzburg(Austria), which is very near Germany. The garden is famous because of the movie ‘The Sound of Music’, the tree is a gem at the entrance.
TP –> We tried, but the 3.3m RV couldn’t fit into underground parking, which was often either 2.1m or 1.9m. Shietz! Some other time perhaps. Anyway, as for the camera, I used a digital camera with antishake, thats all.

Welcome back The P-Meister! *Hugs*
And thanks for bringing us the nicely taken photo shots and sharing your experience. I’ve always wondered how Budapest looks like after taking a Cold War in Europe module.

How dare you people go on scenic adventures and take nice pictures!!! You make people who only go to weeaboo places to take shoddy handphone ‘pictures’ look bad!

Hynavian –> thanks, i’m glad to be back! Anyway, Budapest is a tourist city and everything is so touristy. It has twice the number of hotels of other cities and is congested with tourist buses. The beautiful landmarks were not able to compensate for its unnaturalness due to overcrowding. these weren’t shown in the photos due to my great photography skill of course. =)
issa-sa –> lol. I wasn’t on a scenic adventure, i was trying to find out on how to become a Belka Knight. These pictures were just taken by chance. =)

Shietz. I also want to travel extensively like that someday.

It’s quite funny how u can take nice pictures with just an ordinary compact digital camera. Hmm. Seems like it depends quite a bit on the photographer’s technique, perspective and skill.
And P-Meister, am I not the one who should be getting the credit for taking those purely awesome photos?
