Koihime Musou 1-2

This is great, looks like i won’t need to do more scouring to find more anime for this summer. This will be the second anime to be confirmed on my watchlist. Huge boobies in a new setting, HOHOHO!

This story has an ancient setting, however, instead of boring skills like 18 Fists of the Flying Dragon, it decides to put in girls. Beautiful girls. The story is pretty shallow imho.

Well, everything starts of as an RPG. The party gets bigger. In episode 1, a legendary bandit killer, known as Aisha, who was rumoured to be uber pretty turned out to be ok. Still, i prefer her current version than the ‘pretty’ version which looks more like a whore than a bandit hunter. Anyway, in ep 1, she meets Rinrin, a girl with superb strength but doesn’t know how to use it. Like Aisha, she lost her family when she was young, thus she becomes a vandal and she and her ‘bandit’ friends would often destroy property and make fun of people. Due to their similarities of past experiences, Aisha took her in as a sister and they now travel together like family. Rinrin is for the paedos who like little girls with undeveloped breasts.

In episode 2, as they were travelling, they met a blue haired warrior, whose true name is Sei and a general called Konsousan. (Note that I’m using their true names only because it’ll be too troublesome to keep track of all their names.) Konsousan is the one who is looking for people to hire but apparently seems to have little ability to rule a country like she said she aspired to. Anyway, as Rinrin fails to pass the test to remain silent, the group goes on ahead without her to solve the bandit problem. Sounds like a side quest in a rpg storyline.

Since their skills were imbal, they manage to save all the villagers, with a bit of dirty prostitution work of course. Eventually, Rinrin can’t wait any longer and decides to look for them. Fortunately, she finds them at the dead end of a cliff. Cutting off a tree to produce a bridge, the villagers were saved, but before the other two warriors could get on, the bridge broke. Punishing the bandits with their newfound weapons they picked from beated soldiers, also much like an RPG, picking off a better weapon drop, the pair finished all the bandits and head off.

Sei then decides to join the party, much like an rpg enix made, as she finds a master who is actually worth fighting for. End of chapter, save? –> Yes.

My thoughts

Honestly, this would have made a fine addition to the DS. The way the story is told and the way members are added are really humourous parodies of a typical RPG. As a person who likes RPGs, i believe that the shallow story of the start is normal and we should expect to see more development in the further episodes, such as saving the world.

The art work of the ladies are nice, similar to those u find in crimson H-games. Rinrin, though doesn’t appeal to me in that way, I find extremely cute, like an adorable sister. I’m sure she’ll be real good looking in 10 years time. I’m also sure its not the last we’ll see of Konsousan. I vote for a pink hair and yellow hair addition to the party.

A good thing about this series is also that the main character is a female. We get to understand a little better about how women think. Women always care about the most unnecessary things, unlike men who are more practical. I’m sure this can be seen from Aisha caring about people mentioning that she isn’t beautiful. In a normal RPG with the main char as a guy, the guy would prolly not care if people said he was good looking or not, at least not to such an extent.

This anime is really relaxing to watch but definitely not for those who seek a deeper storyline. As for now, the storyline remains shallow but I believe we’re at the superficial parts only. However, the episode is filled with lulz and babes and boobies and legs and did I mention, I really liked the seme and uke parts!! This is equivalent to watching softcore porn. The sounds when they were stuck in the box was a plus point. Definitely a must watch for perverts and people who like humour.
