Awesome news came to me while I was doing pushups. The information from Nagato, comes from Shin acquiring it from Setsukyie, states that there is going be a new season for Nodame Cantabile. I am such a failure for relying on others but I am definately good at spreading the love. YOU GUYS ROCK.
The official website says that… uh… the new series will be broadcasted around October I think. Am I a happy fan? Yes I am.

Any other tidbits on what season 2 is on? I’ve only watched the Live Drama version and haven’t caught the anime yet. (:

The sequel will closely follow Chiaki and Nodame during their stint in Paris, which was covered by the two live action specials.

I am not sure how far the story has progressed in the manga since I am still reading the first volume *LOL*, but if the sequel is going to follow closely to the live action specials then I guess its span should be around let’s say 8-10 episodes?
Shin definitively has the best upcoming summary of it. They’ll be in Paris, with Chiaki working his way as a conductor, and Nodame working her way to become a good pianist.
And we can expect wonderful music.
